I feel a shift in the Force - a clarity is forming about school-based behavioral health programs
School based "behavioral health" is the shiny new toy in Nebraska. In other states, Arizona for one, this concept is like last year's Christmas present: broken and ready for the trash bin. Insane states, like California, are turning over their in-school clinics to Planned Parenthood. It would be nice if Nebraska could learn from the mistakes of others, and return to the concept of doing education in schools. We don't have much hope that Nebraska will escape the madness, because there is so much money in "behavorial health", and money always has lobbyists. Parents need to be extra vigilant. Make sure your child is not getting "counseling" without your express permission. Do not sign any forms that allow "emergency" health care. Opt out of all surveys.
