Greetings from the RNC Nebraska Delegation #1

As we prepare to head to Milwaukee on Sunday for the Republican National Convention, I want to let you in on some of the planning. Subscribe to this newsletter for updates thoughout the convention.

There are 33 members of the Nebraska Delegation to the Republican National Convention, and an equal number of alternates.

Some of our members have started early with committee work. The platform committee just completed the Republican Platform for 2024. It is very America First, which is fitting for the party led by President Trump. It is entitled “Return to Common Sense” and the entire document can be read HERE. It is summarized thusly:

We have just been informed by our Delegation co-chairs Eric Underwood and Jon Tucker that Nebraska will receive a special honor!

Nebraska is 1 of 5 states that has been selected to sign the Certificate of Nomination that will formally allow President Donald J. Trump to be nominated for President on Monday afternoon. Our seating for the Thursday night nomination festivities will be the best in the house!

Oh my gosh, I have been telling everyone I know to watch for me on TV or RSBN or wherever you watch. I have been saying “I will be the one in red, white, and blue.” But now, I really mean it! It will be our honor to sign the legal documents nominating President Trump and be seated front and center to welcome him back.

Every day my inbox is inviting me to more events. Here are a few that I recently registered for. I guess we can sleep when we get home.

There is a welcome party at the festival grounds on Sunday night called “Red, White, and Brew.” Trace Adkins is providing the entertainment. Meet me at the beer garden and bring your giant pretzel.
