Pedagogy(n.)- The Act of Formulating a Culture in Children.
A Critical Theorist's tool for transforming the culture of our youth.
by Sue Greenwald, M.D.
From Wikipedia: Pedagogy (/ˈpɛdəɡɒdʒi, -ɡoʊdʒi, -ɡɒɡi/), most commonly understood as the approach to teaching, is the theory and practice of learning, and how this process influences, and is influenced by, the social, political, and psychological development of learners. (emphasis mine)
The infamous Westside video showed school personnel bragging about hiding critical theory from parents by playing with vocabulary. They understand that their curriculum is not called Critical Theory, but their pedagogy runs every data point through what they call an “Equity Lens,” a euphemism for Marxist indoctrination. Indoctrination is the right word because the critical race and gender lessons are not taught as much as they are absorbed by children experiencing constant immersion in the post-modern humanist culture.
Quoting from the book “Battle for the American Mind” by Pete Hegseth and David Goodwin. (lightly edited for brevity)
“A key part of the Left’s CRT denial is the way in which they hide the difference between curriculum and pedagogy. Curriculum is what kids are taught; pedagogy is how they are taught. Progressives deny CRT is in the curriculum, instead embedding their entire CRT methodology into their teaching Pedagogy.
Pedagogy comes from the Greek root paideia (pie-day’-ah), which could be defined as enculturation. Pedagogy is the act of formulating a culture in children. Everyone’s paideia is formed in childhood-which is why the Left is so hyperfocused on things like universal pre-K.
Western Civilization refers to any civilization that descends from the convergence of Greece, Rome, and Hebrew cultures, dating back roughly 2500 years to the golden age of Greece. It envelopes nearly all historical Christendom, both in time and space.
The Western Christian Paideia (WCP) is a unique form of paideia that was intentionally developed and cultivated beginning with the Greeks, and flows through all Western Cultures.
Under the old form of Western Christian Paideia, children gained wisdom by studying history and the classics, saw divine order in everything, practiced the art of reason as they sought truth, and were set on a lifelong search for greater meaning.
With today’s American Progressive Paideia (APP), children look only to factual knowledge, and only those facts that are new and recent. Old is outdated and irrelevant. Today, children are lead toward a twisted form of antihumanist anarchy, masquerading as progressive humanism. APP consists of indoctrination from the secular cultural ideologues in power.
The goal of that indoctrination? It’s not about racism, or equality, or even gender. It’s about deconstructing anything and everything that reflects not just the founding principles of America, but the foundations of our families and our faith. It’s about control-of thought, and behavior. To the Left, our Western Judeo-Christian roots are the problem-they must be dismantled, one theory, one word, one classroom, and one mind at a time.
In our schools today, Americans have become weak-spirited citizens who serve only the state.”
Let’s use an example of the history of our nation’s founding. George Washington is the “father of our country,” but in spite of all the amazing things he accomplished, American Progressive Paideia blames him for the one thing he didn’t do soon enough. What follows is the same curriculum presented with 2 different pedagogies:
From history.com:
“During the American Revolution, George Washington led the colonial forces to victory over the British and became a national hero. In 1787, he was elected president of the convention that wrote the U.S. Constitution. Two years later, Washington became America’s first president. Under Washington’s leadership, the states ratified the Bill of Rights, and five new states entered the union: North Carolina (1789), Rhode Island (1790), Vermont (1791), Kentucky (1792) and Tennessee (1796).
Realizing that the way he handled the job would impact how future presidents approached the position, he handed down a legacy of strength, integrity and national purpose. Less than three years after leaving office, he died at his Virginia plantation, Mount Vernon, at age 67.”
from millercenter.org
“The trust and confidence Washington inspired made possible the creation of the presidency and helped establish the executive branch. Once in office, he cultivated respect for the presidency, regularly exhibited restraint in the face of political provocations, and attempted to serve as a president for all citizens (which admittedly meant white men).
However, Washington’s ownership of enslaved humans is by far the most challenging part of his legacy. To be sure, Washington’s ideas about slavery and the potential for Black emancipation evolved over his lifetime. He did free the enslaved people he owned in his will, which is much more than most people in his generation.
He could have freed the enslaved people he owned during his lifetime but elected to enjoy the fruits of their labor until his last days. He also chose not to deprive Martha of that care either, which is why the enslaved people he owned were not to be freed until her death.”
It isn’t just history that has been buried in APP, it’s math story problems about “how many students in a class are non-binary;” it’s health questions about choosing your gender; it’s social studies about “how to do direct-action (protest/riot);” it’s science lessons about the “climate crisis;” and it’s language arts lessons about “white privilege.”
Race-baiting grifters like authors Robin Diangelo and Ibram X. Kendi (not his real name) are often required reading in high school.
Elementary classrooms are likely to be “enriched” with books such as “A
is for Activist,” “Antiracist Baby,” and “Not My Idea: A book about Whiteness.” Those books might be found next to the colorful transgender propaganda such as “Jacob’s New Dress” or “Pink is for Boys.” On the wall of the progressive classroom will be the Black Lives Matter banner, the LGBTQ+ flag (complete with a colored stripe to honor pedophiles), and a poster with the Genderbread Person.
It is this total daily immersion in the secular humanist, moral relativistic, anti-American, anti-God, anti-family, and anti-truth pedagogy that is leaving this generation adrift. Ask any high school or college student today “what is truth,” and they will assure you that each person has their own.

What is YOUR truth?
CKLA-Marxist Indoctrination Via English Class-With Bonus Video
Do you believe any of this is accidental? It’s been in the works for 60 years.
The one thing Marxian socialists and communists cannot stand is monotheistic religion in general, and Christianity in particular. It stands in the way of worshipping the state.
We shall leave you with this 4th grade lesson from Amplify CKLA about the adventures of the Caliphate featuring Muhammad and his successors. Since most Nebraskans of faith are Christians by far, one might expect a similar uplifting lesson about the life of Christ. There isn’t one.
“And let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.”
-George Washington, Farewell Address 1796
